Definition: An extremely confident and assertively arrogant attitude or disposition.
Apparently this is the attitude that I had while playing a card game last night. And, as was the case, I was thoroughly confident I could win. As it was my opponent had the exact cards that he needed to beat me. And do so quickly. It actually has happened twice now in the past two times I've played the card game Bang!. So I guess I have to keep my cockitude in check the next time I go for the win.
