Quickle : noun : [kwik-uhl]
Definition: Quite literally, a quick pickle. Made by covering cucumber slices in pickle juice.
The quickle comes from a certain Chef Lester from the Bronx who, on a tv cooking show, covered his cucumber slices in a pickle juice emulsion something-or-other and duly coined the name "quickle". A clever idea that may be worth your time. And while we're talking about it, if you like cooking competitions and tv shows, I highly recommend the Food Network show Chopped.
