Resuplenish

Resuplenish : verb : [ree-suh-plen-ish]

Definition: To restock or replenish something from nothing to everything, or from 0% to 100% capacity.

     I said this word by accident when I went to the grocery store today to resuplenish our home's supply of junk food.  Alright, I was actually buying all sorts of goodies for an ice cream bar for my little brother; his high school homecoming dance is tomorrow and almost 20 kids are planning on coming by afterwards for ice cream.  So what we ended up purchasing looked a little something like this.

     I am so proud of myself right now.  Nor have I seen so much potential weight gain stare me back in the face.  I am so excited.

Pisstified

Pisstified : adjective (from verb pisstify) : [pis-tuh-fahyd]

Definition: To be angry and slightly confused, all at once.

    I got today's word from a tweet from NFL Free Agent receiver Chad Johnson that was posted the other day, via me watching the ESPN late night show UNITE.

     Anyway, I thought it was a pretty funny word, so here it is on the blog.  And while I'm at it, I would recommend UNITE to anyone who's a fan of sports and, well, stuff.  It's a cool, witty, and overall entertaining late night sports show that's on weeknights at midnight ET on ESPNU.  Check them out on Twitter or Facebook.

Caneurysm

Caneurysm : noun : [kan-yuh-riz-uhm]

Definition: A medical condtion characterized by temporary mental malfunctioning as a direct result of overcanning.

     As I stated yesterday, there was an unfortunate side effect to all of my canning.  It was a caneurysm. Fortunately it wasn't fatal (though I hear it can be when one cans for more than 18 hours straight) but boy did I feel as though my brain was imploding.  It took me a full day to recover from the mental trauma of all that canning.  Needless to say, I caution anyone who feels they must do some canning; it's a dangerous thing to do.

Canatonic

Canatonic : adjective : [kan-uh-ton-ik]

Definition: Having canatonia, a temporary syndrome characterized by muscular rigidity and mental stupor when faced with the amount of canning one must do.

     I suffer from this condition.  Or rather I did when I recently went on a pear canning spree with my mother.  I guess that's what I get for being home with nothing to do all day.  Trust me, canatonia is a serious condition, and should not be dealt with lightly.  But needless to say I overcame and succeeded in my canning mission... but not without some unfortunate side effects.  Check back tomorrow to see what I'm talking about.

Redneckognize

Redneckognize : verb : [red-nek-uhg-nahyz]

Definition: To recognize, but involving something to do with rednecks.

     This one comes from the TLC show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which is just horrible in my opinion.  Not that I've actually seen it, but I've seen enough of the promos to know that this little girl is going to have a messed up life.  At least that's my take on things.  Comment if you have a different opinion of it all.

Chippings

Chippings : noun : [chip-ingz]

Definition: The little broken pieces of chips that one finds at the bottom of a chip bag.

     I don't know about you, but I love eating the chippings at the bottom of chip bags (especially Tostitos with a hint of lime).  When I first used this word though, it was actually the leftover fragments of my younger brothers nachos that I was describing, but it still makes sense.  I for one think that this could actually be a real word.  But alas, it is not, and thus it has a home here on my blog of wonderful made-up words.

Bizcation

Bizcation : noun : [biz-key-shuhn]

Definition: A business trip and vacation combined.

     Many people miss out on possible bizcations (on their own or with their families) when they have business meetings in places like New York, Washington DC, or Los Angeles.  My parents have been on a handful themselves, to places like DC, San Francisco, New Orleans, and Hawaii (from all of which I was excluded, sadly).  I sit and wonder why everyone doesn't take a bizcation anytime they have a business trip.  It would be one major stress relief, I'd say.
