Trampire

Trampire : noun : [tramp-pahyuhr]

Definition: A cheating vampire (in theory).

Not that I'm too into celebrity drama that much, but this was just too funny to pass up.  Will Ferrell used the word on Conan to describe Kristen Stewart (K-Stew) after she cheated on her vampire lover Robert Pattinson (R-Pass).  I laughed so hard.  And while you're at it, watch him talk about Russian gymnasts too.  So good.

Beawesome

Beawesome : adjective : [bee-aw-suhm]

Definition: Beyond regular awesome.

Inspired by the Disney movie Bolt, this word is simply used to describe anything where "awesome" just doesn't do it justice.  Like this.  Or this.  And even this.  As you can tell, I'm really into linking videos at the moment (more on that later).  And sports, obviously.  And beawesome things like this.

Glamping

Glamping : noun : [glam-peeng]

Definition: Glamorous camping.

So a lot of people rationalize camping by bringing along all sorts of technology, ranging from cell phones and x-boxes to (more-or-less) entire kitchens.  Ladies and gentlemen, I'm sorry to disappoint, but this is not camping.  It is glamping.  Yes, having a cell phone is good for emergencies, but texting your friends is not an emergency.  And cooking over a fire or even a camp stove will not kill you for a few days.  That's the point of camping; taking a step back and living more simply.

Superprise

Superprise : noun : [soo-per-prahyz]

Definition: A super surprise, in the sense that it is extremely surprising.

A superprise is, simply put, anything that is out-of-this-world surprising.  Borderline shocking is another way to put it.  It's more than a surprise birthday bash; it's a little more like enjoying your day at the beach and suddenly running into a refrigerator.  Yeah, it's that sort of superprise that we're referring to.

Scribnature

Scribnature : noun : [skrib-nuh-cher]

Definition: A signature that is "scribbled".

Everyone knows someone with a scribnature.  It wouldn't surprise me if most people have one.  I do.  Athletes do.  Doctors obviously do.  A scribnature is easily identifiable; it is nothing more that a glorified scribble with perhaps one or two obvious letters.  I always thought the were cool as a little kid.  And I spent forever to perfect my own.  I guess we just use scribnatures because they're faster to write.  And, of course, way cooler than normal cursive.

Themey

Themey : adjective : [theem-ee]

Definition: Something that is filled with themes.

Lots of books are very themey, but we got this one from soundtrack music.  If you think about it, there used to be lots of very themey soundtrack music.  Think Star Wars, Star Trek, Superman, etc.  They all have themey parts that are extremely recognizable.  Nowadays, I feel like there's less themey soundtrack stuff, but one that I noticed and like is Captain America.  Good stuff.

Trashination

Trashination : noun : [trash-uh-ney-shuhn]

Definition: A fascination with trash and/or trash-related things.

Trashination can come in various forms.  For example, some people love junk.  Period.  Hoarders, collectors, whatever.  It may just be trashination.  Others like junk art.  That too is a form of trashination.  Others still love collecting trash throughout the house and watching it get picked up by the garbage truck (which is actually where this word came from).  It makes them happy.  A little weird, maybe, but we all have our quirks.
